So I know anyone south of here - especially those around Washington DC - will probably hate this post, but...
This past weekend, I was hoping for a couple inches of fresh snow from the storm that rolled through the east coast of the US. Despite my folks who live just an hour south of me getting 6 inches, and coworkers in the DC area reporting up to 28 inches, we got absolutely no snow at all!
But I really wanted a couple shots with fresh snow cover, so I processed this shot to have a bit of a look of fresh snow - particularly in the trees.
How did I do? If you'd like to see the original color version, stop by my blog (there I have it setup in such a way that you just mouseover the image to show the original, so it makes it really easy to compare).
