    Mostly Frozen Kildoo Falls

Also on the weekend, we made a visit to the local Kildoo Falls. They are almost completely frozen except for a small window in the column where you can see the water flowing inside the hollow ice tower... I took a couple photos, but also grabbed a short video clip because the effect is so cool and a still photo doesn't do it justice.

A nice example where a video is telling more as a still.

I agree with George, the video has the edge here. Very nice

Having just photographed almost the same scene in my Project 52, I enjoyed looking at your stills and the video was a good example of what one cannot really see in the still images. Good job.

That's cool. There are definitely times when video comes into its own.

Excellent use of video. I really like the first photo - its looks like a specter emerging from the mountainside.

Thanks all for the comments! Yeah - the video really is the ticket here, without it, I don't think I could have effectively portrayed exactly what was happening in that scene.
