A few snaps of Tom Price. Mt Nameless is incidentally the second highest highest point in Western Australia
Im not particularly well kitted out for Landscape and I never really get the chance to do it properly. Let me know what you think of these and what I can do better next time.

Nice set of images. 3,6 and 7 for me and they all benefit from a viewing in the lightbox. looks like someone is into amateur radio in 4 &5. The description radio "Shack" never seemed more appropriate.

The shack is very architecturally intriguing (to me!)

Makes me wonder how they arrived at that configuration - if I were to guess, I'd say it has been rebuilt/extensively modified/repaired over the years and looks more industrial than homebuilt though.

Obviously tied down (very) well, so it must be windy up there.
'Hot climate' also looks like it can be taken for granted and the ventilation gaps (and air-con) appear to confirm this.
Slightly puzzled by the steep roof and spikes though, does it snow up there in winter?
The multiple 'chimneys' are also unusual, perhaps equipment cooling?

Ha, I'm glad you like the shack. It is actually an old communications hut (still in use) which houses Comms equipment on top of the hill for the mine. Summer daytime temps get up to and over 50 celcius and winter gets down to zero.

Excellent set of images.... somehow the B&W is a misfit in the sequence.... In the second were there a possibility to include that thickest cloud completely within the frame???

Yeah, I included the B&W because when I took the photo I was actually thinking "hey, this would look good in B&W". I thought it would be a bit rubbish in colour, but now I can't make up my mind.

Not sure about that cloud, I will have to reprocess the files. Those panoramas are huge areas of the desert.

You did a good job on all of them but I must pick some winners (not that the rest of them are losers...)
I like #1 as is...I think it is a good colour by any means.
#2 and #3 looks like there is a BIF (bird in flight) there on both shots. Very nice really...I had not read any comments here yet so if someone already mentioned it, sorry I am late to this post.
I like both versions of #4 and #5...each has its own merits.
My favourite of all is #6. I like this kind of shot showing the undulation of the road leading to ??? makes me want to traverse that road too to find out...
Second and third favourites are #2 and #3...for the BIF...

Keep it up, Rob..you've done pretty well here.
