    Another Portrait

I ran into this man while downtown. I thought I'd try and I was able to get a photo.

That's a great shot Sergio, full of character and fine detail, I really like the framing

I like the eye contact here, Sergio -- it is nice shot but I would rather that the crop be a little bit more contained like crop up to the end of the shadow of his beard or something...Just a thought...

    Thank you, Adam.

While talking to him I knew I had to try and get a photo. As the saying goes, "nothing ventured, nothing gained". I'm glad I did.

The framing I felt was well suited for getting a closer look while still maintaining openness and a certain distance. The shirt also helps balance out the background.

    Issie,

I appreciate your input. See my response to Adam as to why I framed the way I did.

    Thank you.

Noted. But I still stand on my statement.

Sergio, I agree with Izzie that cropping would help the image. I, however think that 75mm would be enough, leaving enough white for balance. That is only my opinion.
    Cheers Ole

Your opinion is appreciated, and I accept that for you the suggested crop would improve the photo. I'm pleased with the way it stands, but I do take the view of others into serious consideration.

    Thanks, Ole.

Given the lighting conditions, that's a cracking shot and conversion Sergio. Did you need to do much in PP?
