at one time we had about 1500 pineapple growing. There is nothing quite as refreshing as freshly squeezed and chilled pineapple juice.

YOur pineapple looks good there. I like the colour too, must have that nice smell too. We used to feed nearly rotten ones to our pigs. Anyway, I do not remember my grandmother cutting pineapples that way. He lost almost a third of the fruit. I still cut pineapple this way:
