Photoshop Question

Up until a few days ago, when I took an image thru ACR and opened it into Photoshop I would see the file name of the image. However now what I see is the file name along with -1, so it appears as "file name-1" and wants to be saved as such. Anyone got ideas of what may have been changed to get this?

Did you update or upgrade before the change became apparent? If so, perhaps the change is caused by the update or upgrade.

A memory cell or two stirred in my brain . . have you changed something in the camera, e.g. color space? compressed/not compressed raw?

Been a while since I've used ACR, so sorry about being vague.

Alan - I've been getting the same thing (probably since the last update).

I put it down to one of those "undocumented features" or perhaps more politely a bug?

Mike only since latest upgrade, Ted nothing change on camera, and Manfred, sorry to say this happy you have it too, means it is just not me. As you stated it maybe one of those "undocumented features".
