    Decent shot in some pretty terrible shooting conditions. I probably wouldn't have even taken my camera out with fog like that (unless I were doing some landscape work).

    Big drama there at your place...I would just be amazed at what I see around than taking images at that time of the fog..Beautiful birds...

    My camera club had a field trip which was intended mostly for users of the Canon Powershot SX40,50,60 series of superzoom bridge cameras. Because of their tele capabilities the rookery seemed a natural choice. I don't own the camera but I always like an excuse to socialize and go on a field trip. As it turned out, the menu and settings they were working with sounded like another language to a Nikon user but I was a bit helpful with bird identification and some fieldcraft.

    Both very nice, I would remove the blue color cast in #1
