    The Procession

The image is a bit soft. I didn't notice my shutter speed and took this in a hurry to avoid an approaching car.
I liked the background colors and the interesting procession.

Great capture. I worked on the shadow details a bit to separate the procession from the restaurant front...

    Richard,

Looks good. Thank you for your time and effort.

Now I've got to decide which I like better.

Well seen, Sergio. The 3 characters in the centre of frame seem to correspond to the 3 advertisements.

Greg, thanks for pointing that out. I'd like to say I noticed that but I didn't. I was trying to wait for the lead person to get a little further in the frame, but with the approaching car and another person closing in on the rear, I took it when I did. A good idea to consider for a future shoot.

    Thanks for your input.

I am fascinated by that guy in the lead...what is he wearing? the one behind him and the last guy in the row are just seriously walking, whereas the girl and the other guy are looking at the menu. Good capture, Sergio...The guy in blue caught my attention because of what he was wearing....

    Hi, Izzie.

Apparently there was a Penny Arcade Expo in San Antonio last weekend. I think those might be trading cards on his cape. It looks like the guy in the rear also has some on his hat.

Oh OK..now I understand...When my young son was young, he used to be in the trading card era...I buy them for him. Now that he is big and ugly enough to take care of himself, it is not my environment anymore.

Sergio, the thing about street photography is being ready to grab an image when presented. Sometimes we grab what we can regardless of our preferences. In this case I think you got a really neat shot. There is something very 'hollywood' about the image, it looks like it could be a still from a movie. The spacing, their clothing, it all just works, and I'm not sure it would have the same impact in B&W, the color really makes this image work. Good job.

    Jack,

Thank you for your detailed explanation; it's very much appreciated.
