Yes, Alok. It is a very beautiful and interesting place. We spent a few hours there just over a year ago and went back at night as well to take some pictures (and found out that you needed to have a permit to do so).

Thanx Manfred. It would've been real sad not been able to click. However, I understand that the permit is required if you are going to setup a tripod. Handheld photography is allowed except inside the main temple.

I did click (lots) and did watch as they transferred to book of Sikh from the temple to its place for the night. Truly an amazing place to visit. Very friendly people to chat with. I found the organization of how they feed tens of thousands of people every day absolutely fascinating.

This is probably my favourite night shot (hand-held).
