The flowers can't seem to open fast enough with this warm weather we're having.
El Nino is nowhere to be seen this weekend.

Since El Nino is a warm weather pattern, if you are having weather like that of the photo then I would suggest you are seeing its effects big time!

In Victoria BC, they hold a "counting of the flowers" in February as blooms start to show. This is done basically to rub the rest of Canada's nose in the fact that we are not freezing our assets off...

It's actually a warm water pattern that is supposed to bring weather that dumps buckets of rain on Southern California, when it works right.
So far this year, it hasn't.

Yes we've been high and dry for a number years now. This winter was supposed to be a wet one but so far it's been very disappointing.
I like your crop by the way, but, I was actually aiming for the not yet opened bud but missed the focus just a tad.

I was thinking the same crop as Trev but he beat me to it...it turns out very nicely, Trev...and good exposure, Alan...just needed that crop badly and nothing else...
