Day 27: July 2010 Photo-a-Day Thread

Running a bit behind, so just a quick fun shot from the studio for "yesterday" (idea blatently stolen from (I think it was) Steve -- please correct me if I'm wrong!)

I was out this dreary, overcast morning and saw the shot I wanted. About mid morning it started to clear up, so I shot this poor chewed up bedraggled thing.

I then wandered about the cats' happy plants and found the culprit.

I also saw this guy, which is very pretty, despite being rather ugly.

I have been trying to get a picture of a hover fly in hover mode. I think I finally succeeded.

All the photo here are great. I love the bulb and the fly the most. Hope I can try it also.
