Not sure the focus is on the eyes

With this much hair she will be a challenging subject for portreture.

Good clear shot, I think you need to move the dog slightly off centred so it is not slam dunk in the middle of the frame.

She is a Bouvier des Flandres. We had her active in herding and Schutzhund until she lost a front leg. Here's how she looks now.

Paul, the Bouvier des Flandres is a wonderful and handsome breed. It is amazing how well dogs do with a missing leg. We have had several tripod rescue dogs and were very proud of how well they did...

Thanks for the good words. We got the Doberman as an adult and he had not been socialized or trained. He was overweight and out of shape. Pure hell for two weeks. Once we got some training on him and paid a little attention to him he turned into a wonderful dog. He's 9 now and still runs like a puppy.

    Re: Dog

My next favourite dog is a doberman but I never had a chance to own one because I fell in love with rottweilers. All my dogs have been rottweilers, except this last one which is a blue heeler. She was dumped on us and then the owner (my stepson's ex-girflriend) decided she has to be put in the pound. Blue Heelers are intelligent doggies and this one we have is often too intelligent for her own good. So we learned to love her. And I found out that I am a sucker for dogs that needed help.
