    Luna New Year

I think I must have pressed the wrong button. Take three. It is still a Luna New Year celebration.

China Town -- Little Bourke I think...I've been to this street many times in the past...good memories there, especially the Yum Cha restaurants from 11am-3pm. Then there is the Chinese Museum and the pair of Foo Dogs sitting in front of one of the restaurants. I participated in one of local tours of the area in '85 and passed by those dogs. Each of us were told to dislodge the ball in the mouth of the one on the left. I was the only one who did it. Either it was luck (as they said it was) or the others had pushed the ball so much that when it came my time, I was able to move it. Everyone who saw it said I will be lucky...and of course, the Chinese Festivals...

Anyway, the scene is very typical of Chinese celebrations and is it is nice to see it even in pictures. 'Would have loved to be there...I particularly like the shooting angle here.

You are correct it is Little Bourke Street. It was very noisy and the food we had was street food. Not exactly Flower Drum quality. He he. I also ate too much.

A nice street scene with a lot of people and activity.
I have never been there, but it gives me a sense of the place.

    Well done, Ole.
