Izzie asked about people doing doing their laundry in the river, and as you can clearly see in this shot, the answer is yes. Some people, like this woman, were using soap, others were beating the clothes on the rocks.

Great shot here, Manfred...Your daughter and son-in-law, do they have anyone doing their laundry for them like this or do they have a washing machine? It makes me wonder if she has time to do laundry like this or is the culture over there as different and varied as chalk and cheese too? If I am being nosy, ignore my question...I am just curious how the other half lives, do their things...
