Very nice set of images
Very, very nice images on their own! However, the one on the right is visually too dissimilar from the other two at least to be displayed in this order. Perhaps displaying that one in the center would work for me.
Nicely done.
Beautiful
Thanks everyone for the comments.
Mike, I agree in general with what you say but I had a special reason in this case for wanting to make a triptych. I think the common theme means that the collection of the three is an improvement on them as three individual images even though they are not visually similar. To me the first relates more to the second than the third and the third relates more to the second than the first. Ideally they should be three separate images presented in the one collection or perhaps hung near each other.
Very creative, both in title and presentation. I love it. 'Wish I can think like that...
Tony, I "get" it. Individually, 3 separate images as one collection would be cool!
I think #3 could be improved a bit by bringing down the crop on the upper LH side. This would get rid of the brown OOF part and still convey the concept of webbing? This is just mho.
Nice concept.

Thanks Izzie and Marie.
I remembered that I had another picture that fits this theme. This is a cactus known as prickly pear which was a terrible weed in Australia until a beetle was found that attacked it. The effect of the beetle is shown in this picture

An image in the before and after in one shot?! Excellent! I have seen and heard of this plant but mostly using "cactus" refers to "dead" or broken something...
Izzie, I am familiar with that use of the word cactus. There does not seem to be any agreement about where it came from. Two competing explanations are that it is related to the prickly pear becoming "cactus" after the beetle attacked it and that it is a euphemism for what you get when the first c is replaced by an f.
I did not say it Tony, but it was in my mind...I have just been lecturing Bill about his swearing like a sailor a while ago because we are going to Oz and plan to stay a few days with my son and DIL and of course our then 3-year old already when we visited...and boy! at that age, they are sponge-like and absorbs everything!!! Bill better get used to biting his tongue as stupid politicians brings out the best of his swearing out of him. (Hey! election year here, hence the cussing season is in.) Our granddaughter will turn 3 this 28th of February.
