Comparison of colour and B&W in La Habana

On the thread "Women in La Habana", the question of choosing B&W over colour for the street scenes was asked. I thought the choice was clear for the three in that thread. However, sometimes there's no clear winner, and I think these two images show that. Now you'll all tell me I'm wrong!

Both are interesting, the first looks like a vintage image and the second just makes the structure look old.

Usually like black and white, but in this case I pick the color; the symetry of the blue wall and column shows more about the person.

Definitely the color version for me. The building's blue, brown and beige tones are also displayed in the man and his clothes. Very nice image for those reasons!

I rather prefer the B/W because it has more essence and drama. I am not against the colour here. It has its merits but your decision to convert this to B/W has more drama, in my mind, has more story to tell.

Color for me, because of the harmony of the colors in the scene
