I purchased a set of Neewer filters, haven't had a chance to use them yet.

That is very interesting...is there a price for it yet? I can't seem to find it. All the links point to a review or a wrete up. Thanks for the link.

It says they are going to launch a Kickstarter campaign.

Vivitar has one screw-in that goes up to 10 stops but my lens size, 86mm, is not in existence anymore...

What they don't emphasise however, is that the ND factoring STARTS at 4-stops. It's 4 to 11 stop Vari ND. That's a range of 7 stops.

The Singh Ray Vari ND goes up to 8-Stops. But it starts at 2-Stops: A range of 6 stops. So this new one is only giving a range of one more stop. And, of course you can pop a 5-stop onto the Singh Ray and you have from 7 - 13 stops available.

But, it looks a very promising entrant to the market.

I'm intrigued by this. However, I now use only fixed NDs, and what I have read about variable NDs isn't terribly encouraging. If anyone buys one of these, I will be very eager to hear about their experience.

I certainly love my Singh-Ray. This was with the Vari mounted on top of the fixed 5-stop, giving me about 12 stops.
