The monochrome nature of the photo adds to the almost timeless quality of the image. Without looking too closely at some of the clothing styles, that photo could have been taken any time in the last 50 years. I like it!

Like that Melania. Yes timeless and typical and an excellent subject for black and white. My only thought is that it might be worth lifting the shadows selectively to bring out some of the detail under the umbrellas.

I do like the contrast of light and shadow, and I agree about the timeless nature of the subject.
    Nicely done.

A little more perhaps Melania but that is much better. A suggestion - When you alter an image, post the new version in addition to the original. People can then compare the two in Lytebox.

I have now visited this image twice with days in between each viewing. That probably means I've seen both versions. It's a wonderful composition and I think the image could be improved by darkening the bright light on the right side. If it was a bit darker than the bright light on the left side my eye wouldn't be pulled back and forth between the two sides of the image and would allow me to concentrate on the primary subjects.
