Wow! Beautiful flower shot, Sam...also the pp adds a lot of drama into it. Very creative...!!

The flower is excellent but I'm not over keen on that leaf coming in from the left side. I think I would have snipped it off before shooting. The next leaf which is only projecting a little would be fine to leave. It is a bit damaged but I don't think that would matter.

That is why I always like to use a tripod for this sort of shot, Sam. It gives me that extra 'thinking time' to carefully look around the scene and wonder about 'If I changed that . . .'

Too often, I also miss little bits when doing hand held shots where I'm getting a bit rushed and over concentrating on basic composition.
