    As long as it is not hurting your house, they are fine where they are right now...I think the images needs a little bit more brightening, don't you think?

    I would consider cropping to get rid of the expanse of bare sky and then adding some detail. I used the structure slider in NIK Viveza...

    Hi Randy - first of all a nice series!

    I am curious of the White-Breasted Nuthatch image where it is on the trunk facing down. What causes the groove marks?

    It is just the bark pattern of this species of tree, I don't really know what species it is...other that it is a nut bearing tree with very thick, hard nuts that the squirrels love...and they hurt when you step on them with bare feet

    The additional detail improves the image greatly, and is worth applying to the other photos.

    The crop focuses attention more on the cute bird. However, the other crop creates space below the bird; in my opinion is a more interesting composition, as it allows the eye to move from the subject to the space into which it is looking.
