This was an 'outdoor' art work that was on display in Boreen Point, Lake Cootheraba
The piece was titled 'Awaken' and the message was essentially we must take responsibility for our global environment, while our heads are still above water.

This is interesting because it shows a bright tree against a darker background, the opposite of the usual. But it works well.
It is also interesting to me because we spent several enjoyable holidays camped beside Lake Cootharaba when our children were younger.

Kay...very nice composition. Good commentary too. I wonder how they put those heads in the water? What materials was used? The tree, is it real? Just curious...
