Dave,
I have noticed that there are lots of fun props for baby photography on USA eBay, Some are pretty corny but, I think that moms, dads and grandparents would like them...

I especially like these for my dog photos...

Hi Dave
I have been very busy and have not been here for awhile so I'm a bit late to the party but those are fine images. With baby shoot, I found that colour, props and shallow DoF are the 3 important things that make the image for me.
Below are examples of what I meant. By the way, check out Anne Geddes images if you need some ideas, she is the master of shallow DoF for baby portraits.
Colour - the more the merrier.
Shallow DoF @f1.4
Props - these infant props are quite cheap on line

I have an update on the "Feet and rings" shot (#5 in first post above).
Nikon D7100 + Nikon 105mm, f/2.8 Macro lens at f/16, 1/250s, iso 400, Manual mode with (Manual) Flash bounced off ceiling (411-12900)
Hit Kbd F11 and click image to see at 1,425px × 950px (recommended)
Chloe's feet are one month old in this shot.
The series continues in Baby pics 3 - manual bounced flash, available now at all good forums (this one!)
Cheers, Dave

So much emotions Dave, very simple and effective. #3 is my favourite, screams with satisfaction, peace and symbiosis
Dave, the rings on Chloe's feet is a good idea too. So cute...You did not put a link on the Part 3 shots on your post. Now I will have to look for it...<sigh>
PS...I think I rather prefer the Press F for full sized because when I pressed F11 I have a quick view of my desktop first before the photo I need to look at...just a thought.
