    Ripples and reflections

We were on the wetlands south of Roses, on the Costa Brava - my husband had his big lens out on the birds but somehow, it was the water that caught my eye

I like the simplicity of #1, Kaye.

#2 isn't quite working for me. Maybe crop a little from the bottom? Perhaps 4 x 5 ratio?

#3 has potential but there is too much out of focus foreground. Possibly crop the bottom and go more panoramic? But I think you would have to lose that horizontal branch before I became keen on this image. This is an occasion where a merge of focus points could have produced a really stunning photo.

The first one is really nice with the great diagonal and subtle texture in the water around the subject. Consider cropping at the top to eliminate about one-third to one-half of the area beyond the subject.

I like the composition of the first one as I can almost compare it to a pencil drawing but on the darker side. It is a work of art, better than a Monet. Honest! Very simple. I love it.
