    Girona

A lovely university city, and overlooked by most who visit Barcelona instead. We spent a happy afternoon here - this is the classic shot of the river at sunset

    Girona

Thoughts for improvement in processing welcome - I've looked at it for too long.

Nicely done and not a pedestrian to be seen, siesta surely must have been over by the time this was taken?

As much as I like it, I do wonder what the lighting might have been an hour later.

Nicely composed and executed, Kaye. Nothing to suggest from my perspective.

Great image. Kaye. If it were my image, I'd probably up the contrast just a tiny bit and I'd probably put a light vignette on it (I do that almost all of my images).

    Re: Girona

Thanks all for comments and encouragement. John, this river front has no promenade as all the buildings back on to it, you can spot a few people on the bridge. Chauncey, I was lucky with the light, 5 minutes later it was gone. Thanks Manfred for the processing ideas, will look again later, I'm interested that you often use vignettes.

Kaye, I like your picture very much. Maybe add a bit more structure in the buildings, not much just a touch.
    Cheers Ole

Excellent shot, Kaye! one of your best! Maybe I should start getting out of my comfort zone and wake up early or not worry about dinner -- just go out and shoot.

Contrary to John's comment, I think I see two people in one of the balcony there somewhere right in the middle?
