I went out this morning, took some disappointing photos, got home, deleted them and then looked into my archive and tweaked this.
The beach below here was so covered in sea foam that it looked as if it had snowed. At least the murk effectively hides the massive nuclear complex at Sellafield (just left of the headland on the horizon, one of the towers just visible above the land). This was the tail of Hurricane Katia hitting St Bees in 2011.
