Helpful Posts: All the photos shown below are of the U.S. National Museum of African American History and Culture. Though the building is still under construction, I believe all of the images shown here display a completed exterior. The orientation of all three photos is level, not tilted.
This short video of the architect's renditions indicates at least to me that the exterior has changed since the renditions were designed for use in the video.

Thank you, everyone!
The really interesting characteristic of the facade is not displayed in these photos. When walking toward the building, the facade looked almost black. When I got to a certain point that the light was reflected differently, it became the color of brass or gold. It was an outdoor demonstration of the family of angles like nothing I had ever seen.
