Nicely captured.
I woke up early and wandered through the yard. One of the first things that caught my eyes was a slash of yellow. It was pre coffee so I went with the odds shooting 75 shots from various angles and settings. There will be one or two others in the next day or so I hope.
Definitely some nice fine detail there. You even have clear hairs from the plant stem.
I have also found out that it is the final stage of the caterpillar stage of the Death Heads Hawk Moth.
I really believe that Sony got it just about spot on with the lens supplied with the a58. Good enough to get some really good shots and good enough to seriously whet the appetite for an upgrade.
I think I prefer the "What has six arms and 10 legs?" (side view) version
