Truly majestic.... how many different colors for those stones!!!!
Nicely captured.
Very impressive. Not sure that I would be happy standing with the other group.
Thanks Nandakumar, John and Paul. The Canyon is truly spectacular. Hard to get a bad picture.
Nicely composed image. The people give a sense of scale.
I haven't been to GC in years. Not since switching to digital photography as a matter of fact. Need to get back there and spend some time. It's one of the few places I've been that exceeded all expectations.
Agree with Dan on this one. Nice shot and the people def add to the image.
Appreciate comments Dan and Matt
Very nice image![]()
Thank you Binnur
It would have been nicer too if your image is a little bit more bigger to expand in Lytebox...I usually crop my images to either 1200 px on the longest side or 1600 so I get to see some pimples in the face of the men in the shot, if you know what I mean...
Being a vertical shot, I brought down the size I thought would fit. Question...how do you view a picture in "lyte box"?
The canyon us truly impressive!Great point of view for this shot!
Ya gotta love our SW for colors...tis the iron in the stone...nice shot.
Thanks Boyer. Where abouts in SE Michigan?
Thanks Joe. Took many shots along the South Rim. Hard to choose which one to show.
Ron, it does not matter whether it is a vertical or horizontal shot...if you crop your image to a much larger size than 700 x 1050, which is indicated by your EXIF, we will be able to see a better view.
Anyway, go to your image with your left mouse button and click on it. You see the L and R arrows -- this is for if you have more uploaded one or more image. At the bottom you will see how many you have uploaded in the same post. AT the moment, these buttons are greyed out because you only have one image there. Shortcut is F11 to see full size. At the moment, this one is greyed out too. This is the square with the arrow at the top RH corner going outwards.
Hope this helps.
Thanks Izzie, I'll try that. OK, I try to click on the sq. with the arrow and it does nothing. I will go to the file and increase it there.

Great capture... The people give the image a sense of scale!
I thought that I remembered an image of mine that also showed the canyon scale with people on the rim. This was from the North Rim. I purposely just posted the link rather than the image so I didn't hijack the thread...
