    Standing in the line up

The Stand Up Paddle Boarders are becoming a common sight amidst the surfers.
    Sunshine beach Holiday 2015
Is it just me or does everyone take a long time to go back through their holiday photos and edit a favourite or 2?

Yes, good sharply focused surf and perfect exposure.

Unless there is a deadline, I find that editing up a number of shots often gets put to one side as other things including more photography takes precedence. Which causes the backlog to increase. Usually a bit of English weather will eventually give me a few days of being inside with nothing else to do; except housework etc which, of course, easily takes second place to photo editing.

And as for selecting just a few special images. Well that is something which I always tend to put off because I never can make up my mind about so many options. I have done myself something in the way of a score sheet where I rate each image with a score from 1 to 5 in 4 categories. Then adding up the totals will narrow down my options although too often I still end up with 3 or 4 that have the same score.

Thanks Geoff, glad I'm not alone!
Hopefully the procrastination will help in narrowing down those worthy of print, to an affordable level

Thank you Nandakumar, the surfers have a choice of either paddling out to 'the lineup' from shore or running along the path through the rainforest National Park & launching themselves off the rocks, where I was perched.
It is indeed a lovely place.

That picture prompts wistful thoughts of holidays on the beach. It looks like Noosa Head with the pandanus on the Rock and the beach in the distance up to Double Island Point, where we used to go camping.

    Spot on Tony!
& we've just booked this years trip, using my long service leave to visit outside of September School Holidays!

I kept looking at this shot and something to my eyes is wrong...I am thinking of design I think sometimes too much...rather than what is there and how you shot it. It is a good shot, sharp and all and what the eyes can see from your vantage point but have you tried flipping this image so that the rock with the pandanus will be positioned at the left? Just curious.
