    James River Sunset

Yet another.. sunset. I struggle with these, I do like the strong colors, the graphic qualities of sunset and sunrise images, but this is also a pretty cliche genre. I tend to be a bit like a moth to flame though when it comes to seeing a nice sunset, I simply can't help myself. This was taken at a location known as Robious Landing, up river a touch from Richmond, Virginia. Its a popular spot for hiking, as a put in/take out for canoeing and kayaking, and there is an active rowing club that keeps its boats here.

Very nice shot...I seldom go out at sunset -- as I will be in my kitchen preparing the evening meal. And when I do go out we end up with takeaway which I do not like very much as I love cooking. 'Wish I can take something like this....envious of those who can.

Hi Chris, I think your image needs some levelling. Nice silhouette image

Thanks for the comment Binnur, can you help me by pointing out what reference you are using when looking at the leveling? Part of the problem with images like this is that it is hard to find a solid reference that is 'level' since everything is curving away.
