Monochrome Mini Competition #1124

[Cambridge in Colour]

This is a monochrome-themed competition that is open to all CiC members.

ENTERING. Add your MONOCHROME/B&W image in a new post below. Make sure to change your post title to a name for your picture (click the "Go Advanced" button). Only one entry per person, and any tinted images should utilize no more than one color. For help posting images, go here.

VOTING. When this competition reaches 10 entries, a poll will be automatically added and any member may then vote. After 2 days, voting ends and the winner is determined.

Once voting begins, a new competition will be automatically started.

Notes: Please do not request feedback or comment on other images until after voting has closed, as it could be unfair to other entrants. Photos must be your own, and never entered into one of our prior competitions. We also ask that only recently taken or edited photos be used as entries (in the spirit of motivating everyone to continually improve).

No, you are not supposed to.

I'm sure it was accidental on Grant's part, he did submit them several days apart (16th and 22nd) and probably just assumed that another had started by the time he entered the second time.

Hi Ed,

No, this one is open for voting now, you need to find one that says "ACCEPTING ENTRIES".

No one can vote on your picture here because the automatic process only creates a 10 entry poll - and you're #11.

I can't helpfully answer that Ed - it's a bit like asking me, by post, what time the next train is - I don't know how soon my letter might be delivered, nor when you might next be able to get to the station - heck, I don't even know what time the trains run! - so picking a specific time (or Mini-Comp number) probably won't be much help

At any moment in time, you should see two in that list that say "ACCEPTING ENTRIES"; one for Colour pictures and another, like this, for Monochrome. They will be almost at the top of the list, so - easy to spot.

Yes it was an accident. I had trouble uploading, got a bit confused (a chronic problem my wife says) and thought my second entry was in the subsequent comp. I'll take more care in future.
