    Vintage Ford

    This is a photo I took way back in 2009 of a friend's 1928 Model A Phaeton.

I think it is a special event, that place is full of old and nice cars. I like the shooting angle

Thanks Nandakumar and Binnur. I was quite pleased with it when I shot it and considered it one of the my better images at that time. I hadn't had my camera for that long so was still learning to use it, albeit on 'auto' most of the time. I'll have to contact my friend and see if I could arrange to shoot it again as I like to think I've improved since then.
Yes, it was a Model A Club meet so lots of very nice Model A's were in attendance. I think they all came west to enjoy some California winter as it was March when it was taken.

Beautiful old vintage...yes, I agree you should shoot it again just for the heck of it and a better background without so many people too will work wonders.

    Re: Vintage Ford

I am a sucker for pictures of old cars and my judgement is always biased in favour. I have been trying to find a copy of a picture I have hanging on the wall of my father, with my mother and older brother who was then a toddler, packing up their A model Ford to go on holidays. This was from a period when the car was not regarded as being old.
