Re: Constructing the Hive
I guess men or humans have a way of constructing a kind of hive too, like bees...I like the selective colouring here, very very interesting concept.

Re: Constructing the Hive
Thanks for the comments. I wish it was a little sharper - but handheld and with VR from a distance led to some fuzziness in the detail. I also like the way the people are towards the outside of the image. I've had this pic in mind for weeks, and I'm glad I went out with the camera yesterday as they were taking down the scaffold!

Interesting (and apt) social comment Simon. Well seen and presented.

Re: Constructing the Hive
Generally I am not a huge fan of selective colouring but for some photographs it works well. In this case it works very well.

Re: Constructing the Hive
Simon, the intersecting lines create a repeating pattern which make for a very structured and orderly arrangement.
As Geoff noted, a very tricky shot but you managed it well. Would make a nice inclusion with your modern man in a project or series.

Re: Constructing the Hive
Awesome; The only difference of our hives is that first we have to collect honey and then only we can construct hives
