I'm a little confused over what the problem is (now), could you explain please?

If you still cannot see the picture in post #22 above in this thread, I would ask if you are using Internet Explorer, because we do know that some versions of IE have had, or may still have, a problem displaying some images.

For what it's worth, I have never had a problem seeing the image of Brad in post #22 above. It is there for me (using Firefox) whether I refresh the page (F5) or server refresh (Ctrl+F5). However, from what Colin says, I do wonder if I am looking at the right post?

Maybe that problem is solved now and you just want to put a new picture in a post somewhere....

If you need help on how to place an image in any post, please do it this way in future;
How to post pictures inline using TinyPic .
Just read that one post (only) and follow steps 1 - 8 carefully and all should be well.

When I login and view this thread, the Brad image is located in a box with a clip and a note: "Attached Thumbnails". This is a very small thumbnail and there is no larger image displayed as other posts in this thread and others. If I click on the image to make it larger, it displays a black, blank screen with notation of the date, no larger image. I have re-edited this several times, re-uploading the file, it displays fine momentarily, but when I return to the page at a later time/date, we are back to square one...If you are not having this problem, maybe it is problem with my particular browser, but that seems hardly likely...I use Firefox. I will read your link as to how to post images in future, however, I think I have read everything on this subject and it may be a more valuable use of my time to pass on these competitions. Thx.

Hi Gerry, I hear some frustration here, please don't get discouraged. I think you have loaded the image correctly. When I go to the Brad image, I see the image and also the box with the x below the image that shows up. It looks like there are 2 there and one is working and the other one is not.

I don't mean to add to the confusion, but I find on my images, sometimes they show up and sometimes they don't show up until I log in, and then even after I logging sometimes I have to hit Ctr refresh or Ctr F5 and then they show up. It only happens with my images and it happens at home or at work, but both computers are using IE. I know other people are able to see it because sometimes there are comments.

Sooo, while I can't explain why this happens, I have leaned to live with it, and when I see my image is missing the first thing I do is try Ctr refresh or Ctr F5, if it still does not show up, I log in. If it does not show up right away I hit Ctr refresh and there it is. It does not happen on all my images and it does not happen all the time. Quirky, I know, but I think you have probably done everything right as your image is showing up for me.

I hope you stick with it, I would love to see more of your shots. The software here at CiC was updated not too long ago and some of the more persistent problems are yet to be worked out. It's a great place to be though, so hang in there, and I'm sure it will get resolved.

If you want to try practice posts in one of the other threads and ask for feedback as to whether it is showing up or not for others, we'll be happy to help out until things get resolved.

The posting in the comps has been the only sticking point with me. I just started posting in the competitions and really never do that on other sites but I respect the expertise of the members of this site. Your Ctr + F5 trick worked perfectly...I'll hang in there!
