    Great colours. I'd be tempted to crop out the entire left side of the first as the gap between the two flowers detracts from them.

    Thanks for comments and critique. That gap did make me wonder if it would be interesting or a deal breaker.

    a bright and cheery shot. The space and some highlight areas are a bit of a concern, but it looks like your shooting conditions were difficult.

    John, I'd like to crop the right side and make it into another image...because the taller part of the flower is the perfect design in the composition from nature. Then just clone out the lowest petals at the bottom RHS too. But then I suppose you already know this...now let me guess -- it is raining your way so you decided to edit this shot from the past instead of going out to play with your adult camera...

    It is very difficult to get nice flower images in direct brilliant sunlight; but you managed things very well
