Those are nice pictures. My first thought was that this is a bee-eater. It looks similar to the rainbow bee-eater in Australia, the only bee-eater here.

Tony, it surely is Indian Green Bee eater, amply clear from the link that.
Mark, nice to see your capture too. I do notice a small difference between the one from Australia, wider black band & the golden shade under the beak....
