    Sunday Morning Constitution

I loved how the figured seem to just fade into the sea fret...

This has to be viewed in the Lytebox to be fully appreciated. Wonderful composition. Love the low contrast!

    Thanks

I think there's a hint of the science fiction to it, like they're all heading off somewhere, fading away. Or maybe I read too many Sci-Fi books and watch some weird films

One of the interesting characteristics is that the person running in the surf is the only person running toward the viewer.

Its been 'fiddle with' a bit but there's no trickery just global manipulations, a warm tone and a vignette.

I do like it, and the framing works very well.

Robin, this is an excellent capture. I feel like I am there, just behind. Very pleasing photo

Nicely done. It really works that all of the closer people were faced away from the camera. An interesting shot.

Isn't there one other person running toward the viewer? The one just in front of the closer dog? He looks older than the other who is running toward the viewer.......one older and one younger saved?

There are a few heading back towards the camera but just hazy enough that you're not quite sure.

Thanks for the replies, I'm really pleased with this shot so its nice to get feedback.

To me, it's a stunner. I love the 'faded' figures in the distance. How did you achieve that effect, they don't seem to fit in with the three figures in the foreground?

All the people are a good few hundred yards (meters) down the beach and because of the long lens they seem both closer and their overall spacing compressed. I reality the distant figures are a good way off so have faded due to the sea fret. It took me a little while to position myself and wait until there was no one close to the camera to get in the way of the distant group.
