Like it but would have considered making it into a 16:9 shot and losing some of the hill - brings more emphasis to the walkers for me, but only a personal opinion.

My first thoughts, Matt, were that the figures need to either be a little closer or further away, and your edit looks good to me.

I suspect this is one of those scenes where there will be several options for variations.

My inclination would be to crop only at the bottom because leaving the horizon in the image indicates more about the sloping characteristic of the terrain.
