Send that guy north. We're already thawing out up here. I keep an eye on the local birding reports and they're racking up record early arrivals for several species this year. Also recorded the first known osprey to winter over in this area.

He's on his way, I had to search for open water to find ducks.....after logging about 50 miles, found them two miles from home
. We've had a wimpy winter, lakes went ice out a week ago. A cold snap put a light coating of ice on smaller pot holes, these are on a current reclaimed crappie lake converted to waterfowl production area.
We have a few Mountain Bluebirds showing up with flocks of Eastern Bluebirds...birders are giddy!
