There wasn't much happening around the bird hide and it was an overcast day; but a group of Black-headed Gulls had found a shoal of small fish and were getting themselves into some interesting positions while feeding. So despite the conditions I increased my Iso to achieve a suitable shutter speed and had a go.
The result was rather noisy images with Iso between 1250 and 1600 which is twice my usual limit. However, putting the technical problems aside, I thought the wing positions etc were interesting.

And what kind of creature is this.
The one positive advantage of the overcast sky is that I didn't have the frequent difficulty of too much contrast between bright highlights and shadow areas.
