Just a post to follow on from the previous one about not all princes being handsome. There seems to be a misconception that the two uccis are pretty laid back in approaching their resident roos. Well we are. But we are also well aware how dangerous they can be if pushed or feeling threatened. Basically, we want to get it on record that we don't even think of wrestling with roos, let alone trying to cuddle them. This post shows more the size and weight of the wild life that old ucci is willing to have a go at, given suitable back up by Mrs Ucci. Like, this little swine was attacking our curry plant and needed to be sorted out! Okay, so some of us a bit lacking in the bravery department!
And this is also to show that we are not blinkered into saturating the internet ether with yet more photos of damned roos, but do occasionally frame other subjects.

Thanks for viewing and any comments you may care to make.

Ken, I was still looking for that pig attacking your curry plant. And I've just read that roo whistles are pretty useless. Pretty butterfly...

    Hi Ken,

    Nice sharp capture there.

    No hint of camera shake/tremor/shiver
Perhaps part of the armoury was a tripod to beat it with?

Surely; by the time this species reach this stage of their life-cycle, they are a 'force for good' pollinating your curry plant. It is the the young 'uns (caterpillars) you have to watch out for.

That said, I suppose, if it is a 'she', she could be laying eggs for a delayed attack in a few months time

Now there's a nasty thought to keep you awake at night

Which given Ken was clearly shaking in his boots, is quite some achievement.
