You should sell this picture!
There's a certain mood about the picture that makes it priceless. It can bring back nostalgic memories, and at the same time, it highlights that animals have a very human character. Like humans, they are playful and mischievous, and they also forge everlasting memories by playing together. Perhaps the close bond between these 2 playmates make this photo stand above the crowd. It's truely in a different league from most other wildlife photos.
Also, good job for obtaining the right focus and for keeping the colours perfect. You have also captured the right moment; the animal's eye and ears make it appear so angelic and docile.
My thoughts too. We've been exchanging posts about the poster 'Tennis Girl' in another thread. You can't help but feel that, whilst it may be aimed at a different audience, this image would have similar mass appeal. It's just got to have significant commercial potential.
The one thing I wondered about in this respect, was about the aspect ratio. Would it 'work' as a poster?
I wouldn't know how to go about getting it published and getting professional support for doing so, but I'm sure there's someone on here who will.
