Yet the guy walking in front of it couldn't possibly know what the sign says unless he remembers it from previously seeing it from a different perspective.

    Re: Street Photography?

One of the advantages of street photography is that it can be done any time of the day or night. Something tells me that this new genre for Matt is going to keep him quite busy.

The art world is littered with talented people who get bored and/or want to "stretch" themselves. Then again, it is a hobby

I know next to nothing about the genre but purely as a viewer of the image I think it's pretty good.

I like this Matt - with this sort of photography you have to take what you're given, and you did that very well.

Matt, you're off to a good start.

I haven't been doing SP as long as others but I still feel nervous and probably always will. I use it to be aware of any possible dangers, but it also heightens my alertness to the different things happening around me.

If you use that location in the future, you might think of putting the person directly under the period to emphasize "More Poetry is needed."(period). It would also put them in between the parking space in the foreground. It's just a suggestion as there is nothing wrong with the way it is now, but just different things to think about.

    Have fun.

    Re: Street Photography?

Nice image Matt Shooting landscapes is nice if you like being in nature. Street photography requires mostly being in the city centers or town centers where there are a lot of people and streets. I'm glad that you like being both in nature and on the streets. Can't wait to see your other images of street photography.
