Haunted by Adam Bonn, on Flickr
I nearly went with this for 2016:52#13, but I personally found the one I did use had (to me) a bit more emotional impact (probably 'cos I'm scared of water!)
I'm not that into architecture truth be told... but a local told me that it was haunted, so I had to get a shot!
I find myself usually working in colour, but I did set myself the little challenge of getting my B&W PP workflow to the same level of comfort that I feel working in colour... (I'm NOT saying my PP is really good, just that I wanted to be as comfortable with BW as I am with colour)
A B&W workflow seems to offer many roads that can lead to Rome... I'm finding that de-saturating the colour raw (having first made any WB changes I might want) then processing as normal to be most satisfying to my tastes, but FWIW, I think workflows are not set in stone, and we tend to adapt and grow as we go along!
Yes! That remark's designed to enable me to change my mind later
Anyways, enjoy (or not) the shot!
