Birds on a stick
Hi
I took this picture a couple a weeks ago. The day was a cloudy day. Not a day where you expect to get a good picture. But enough talk , I want to hear what you think about it. Is there anything I could have done different? A better composition ? Looking forward to hearing your constructive criticism.

Re: Birds on a stick
I think it's an excellent image - well seen and captured (and I voted for it in the mini comp, too)

Re: Birds on a stick
Welcome to CiC kalyt, as to your image, I would suggest cloning out the flags(?) on the center stick and what appears to be a length of fishing pole on a stick on the right. I find those two things detract from what is otherwise a very good image. One final thought is cloning out the horizontal rope that cuts across that center pole and, if you wanted to get really into it you might think about cloning out all of the ropes on the poles. I don't know that eliminating all of the rope will make that big a difference but I think it will by removing it from where it cuts the center pole (and center image as well.)
Overall it's a great image in my opinion.

Re: Birds on a stick
Nice simple composition, another possible capture would be to isolate either one or more birds filling the screen with the arrangement. In this composition some of the birds show detail; while others are featureless. The final output might work better if the level of detail was the same. Anyway, nicely done.

Welcome to CiC. This is a nice catch, Kalyt...I agree with Jack and John with their assessment. +1 to Jack and John. I can't add anymore to what they said.
