The concept is very nice but I'm confident based on your other photos that you can execute it better. The flare in the bottom of the frame distracts me though not the flare in the upper part. The horizon is tilted and unfortunately intersects the middle of the fisherman's face.

Thank you for your feedback. It's feedbacks like yours that' i'm looking for. Just to learn more to be better each day. I've got more fotos that I will post here, that I'm thinking that are better than this.

Once again thank you for your feedback, that's very good for me.

Yes; the tilt of horizon comes to one's notice immediately. I noticed how the horizon line cut his face, just because of the keen observation of Mike. I would also prefer that the tip of the fishing pole is within the frame

    Sergio,

My apologies! I confused you with another participant who also has your name. As a result, I thought I had seen several of your photos when in fact I believe this is the first time I've reviewed any of them.

No problem, too much sergio's in the world .

Nevertheless, i aprecciate your feedback, if it was for me and not for the other Sergio.

As i have two fotos, in two competitions, i thought that you were refering those, but no stress, every critic is welcome.

Nice images, agree about the flare being a distraction.

For me, if you cropped away the sun in the Fisherman photo (maybe 5 x 4 ratio?) and fixed the other little items previously mentioned it would become an excellent image. Also a bit of cloning in the bottom left corner.

The second has potential but there is too much dark area at the bottom. Possibly try cropping to 4 x 5 ratio? Or take a bit from the sky as well and go 5 x 4?

Not sure about those sun rays, maybe I would think about cloning them out because they seem to look a bit odd on their own? Possibly difficult to remove cleanly though.

    Thank you Shadowman

Next time I'll take that in consideration, I'll take all the critics in consideration, that's the only way to grow in this huge world of fotography.
