Watch the doughnut...

There is a very old song, which dates me to mention it, which extols the virtue of having an optimistic outlook on life by exhorting one 'to watch the doughnut and not the hole!' So here is a doughnut I thought I would try to capture, even if it is only 'pie in the sky' stuff!

This is a cloud doughnut B&W render I did using the Nix filters; which I downloaded yesterday, they currently being a frebbie from google. So please take into account I have only had them for less than 24 hours to play with when you set about to severely beat me with soft downy feathers as the cc for my inexpert efforts.

Thanks for viewing. And I am always very appreciative of comments posted. At my age most of my friends are too senile to write or have fallen off their respective perches. So one doesn't get all that much incoming comms now!

For some reason, Monty Python's 'Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life' came immediately to mind. So of course, it's a great image. (And I'll have that song stuck in my head for the next two or three days at least....)

I do not see a doughnut...or I am not getting the message here. I saw a glass overflowing with goodies...and forgive me for thinking of food again...LOL
