    Grace Mad at Dad

When Grace isn't getting her way she has sort of a half bark/half howl that expresses her displeasure. We call it "rooing" because that's what it sounds like, "rooooooooo". I was fiddling with the camera instead of throwing the ball for her and she was letting me know how upset she was.

Opinions on which WB looks better?

First one, however the second is better focused.

I am for #2, Dan...you and Grace makes me laugh with both your antics. She owns you, what do you expect?

Thanks, guys. Just fun shots to share. I was sitting down outside fiddling with a new lens and just fired a couple of shots as she walked in circles fussing at me. There was a ball at her feet that she wanted thrown.

Yes she is a GSP. If you want to feel inferior and be told what to do all the time, they are a wonderful breed.

Indeed. We wake up one day and it's too late.

I prefer the second Dan. May be it is because #2 is a better focused image and that's why my eyes don't get tired by looking at lovely Grace

Thanks, Binnur and Joe. Yes the second shot is technically superior. She was dancing around pretty actively and focus point was catch as catch can.

Joe, she is four and a half years old. Right in the prime of life. Though she typically behaves more like four and a half months old.

Anyone who has ever had dog can certainly relate. Dogs never seem to have any doubt about your role in their lives...

Wonderful images, Dan. Cartier-Bresson's "decisive moment" can be applied to photographing dogs as well as people!

Grace is always quite the beauty, even when angry. I like both images equally...
