This pic is too classy to think of me, but I know the reason why. I'll keep it to myself though. Is this plant naturally growing in that cup? I love it without any real background to muddle the view. Thanks Marie. I am flattered.

Good morning, Izzie!

I did not buy this setup. The demitasse cup was my grandmother's. I purchased a market pack of pansies from Walmart and then transplanted one of them into this demitasse cup and added moss that I gathered in the woods to hide the dirt. The patterned linen underneath the cup was a great-aunt's.

As you can see, this is a studio shot. Translum over the window provided a nice diffuse light as my background. I used an Octobox on a boom overhead. There is a reflector as close to the front as I could get without obscuring the camera view. Camera on a tripod, wireless remote set on 2 second delay to avoid camera movement.
