Nice shot, has a soft yet vibrating effect.
Fantastic effort, Ron, very brave, focus looks pretty good to me. I like how the light draws my eye to the group in the top 1/3 rd.
Thanks Lindsay, rapid fire paid off this time.
I love it. Perhaps it is the (almost) arty look. Just great.
Cheers Ole
Thank you Ole. I wanted to do more with this but the location made it difficult. I did avoid being stung.
Ole, I should have sent a series of shots showing the location first and then their hive. Tried a 100mm macro lens first but focus was too critical. Used 24-70 zoom with macro focus with better luck. Because of the tree height location I could not see through the camera therefore each shot was hit or miss. Also, bees never stop moving.
There's a solution to that --if you can go back, try to bracket your shot. You'll get one good one for sure. #2 solution...Second solution is to use Nik's Viveza at Contrast 16%, Structure 44 and Shadow Alignment at 19%, just for taste...
I will remove if you do not like me to upload this...just my take...as Ole said, there are a few that you can get a clear shot of from this shot alone...
Thanks Izzie for viewing and comments. I like your pp results and welcome all c&c. I'm detecting a hint of green hew in your take, were I have a 'honey' hew. I think the bees prefer the honey. I really love your 'bug' shot. That was in my estimate a perfect moment. Good work.
